Absolution

If the very existence of one’s proclivities and personality is deemed an illness, a blight, simply the wrong answer to what society desires: it is in a word to be Incorrect. To not commit a crime but to be a crime.
To form into a new society that selects for the traits that the original society selected against:
This would be Absolution from being a sin.

  1. I just found this blog a few days ago. I have no idea who you are, it’s no matter: your observations are spot on. Keep them coming.

  2. This project began as a lone endeavor.

I had reasoned that the people I was reaching out to ought to exist as a matter of probability. It just is not that hard to end up as a bibliophile misfit!
You might be able to say this has been something of a personal SETI program. :)
It occurred to me that the people we meet face to face in our everyday lives are but a small and highly biased sample of the overall population. A certain sort of person would not have to be that rare to make knowingly meeting one highly improbable. Especially considering the necessity of concealment.

It is heartening to know of your appreciation. I am glad if I have done some good by my efforts.
